Just sent a tx with 60 sat / byte and it confirmed within 2 blocks. 3 months ago the tx fee for that would have been 400-500 sat /byte

Leaves one question:
When are the exchanges adjusting their withdrawal fees again after upping them earlier this year?

Check the link. 226 bytes, but this depends on the number of inputs etc. The core point is that the transaction cost reduced by ~80% over the last few weeks and the FUDers just continue to spread BS.
