You don't have to be a genius to understand the absolute basics of game theory and how financial markets work. You also don't have to be a genius to learn how to read and DYOR. All this shit is out there, ready for you to find and read.

So when you add the first part together with the second (news of new paying customers are not expected by the market, and certainly not priced in), you get a scenario which plays out like the one I described in my OP.

I use Exodus wallet to convert ETH into LTC/BTC and eat the fee and place the LTC and BTC in a cold wallet with coins I've had since 2013.

I do sell in large batches, pay my quarterly taxes at 20% long term instead of 40$ short term.
