I Tried So Hard edition

Robinhood is a commission free stock trading app on iOS/Android

--Robinhood FAQs --
- VISIT THE WEBSITE FIRST DAMMIT!! - www.robinhood.com

> How is it free?
Robinhood earns revenue by collecting interest on the cash and securities in Robinhood accounts, much like a bank collects interest on cash deposits and by collecting fees from robinhood gold.

> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.

> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.

> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, why?
Robinhood graphs are shit and only show you an average, not true real-time prices. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.

> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
Real brokers, like TDAmeritrade's thinkorswim. Otherwise you should be using tradingview.com, stockcharts.com, finviz.com, or a non-pile-of-shit for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

I did right after I made that post and realized I could look it up myself. Anyway, seems there is a "shift of focus" now from GEN-003 to GEN-009 for some reason which seems weird seeing how GEN-003 was in its final stages along with laying off 40% of people. Probably just jews being jews.

Yeah it's not 900m, not sure exactly but before the new company took over, there were 1.6 Billion outstanding. Then they issued 85 billion and gave it to whoever the shareholders in DeepGreen are. Those could be just management, I'm not sure.

So, if you exclude shares beneficially owned, float post split would be 1.6 mill.
Noteable stuff:
There's a warrant outstanding to purchase shares at 0.30 post split.
There's $200,000 in convertible debt apparently entitled to 13 million shares post split, some how. That note is 3 years old - maybe it's interest.

That $200,000 isn't that bad at all really. I've seen much worse.

The share amount that is issued to that debt all depends on current price in which they convert.

Ill tell you a story.. I bought some convertable debt from a company once. There was about $380,000 and i bought a chunk of $30,000 from it in installments of $10,000 each.

I bought the first installment and converted my shares, sold them out and doubled my money on it. When i went to buy the second installment my broker and clearing firm didn't want to clear the shares nor any shares from the particular note. I took the convertable note to a few other brokers and clearing firms and they all said no. So the remainder of that $380,000 note was extinguished. The company couldn't pay the note holder and nobody could buy the debt because no broker would convert it.

So to me that $200,000 convertible debt could very well be extinguished or not even in relevance once the merger goes through. once the merger goes through i would be more concerned with who's holding shares from new company.

It has happend to me with other notes from other people and other companies as well.

This one was just odd because I already did a conversion on that note and traded out with that same broker and clearing firm.

I've even have shares from and S1 denied.. thats a fresh company!!

There aren't a lot of people in the financing behind pennystocks. Everyone knows everyone it seems. I just got involved about 1-2 years ago and already a lot of brokers, CEOs and other investors know me. If i do anything wrong, everyone would know...... and it's not good to have a bad name when it comes to pennystocks.

yeah it was straight out the gate. Only a few shares of that company are trading right now.

>Where you just using a retail broker to take delivery, or do you use something I wouldn't be aware of to route through VFIN/VNDM and friends?
I use brokers that you have to call on the phone and yes they use VFIN and VNDM to route. Depends on the broker and clearing firm. I usually pick what MM symbol i want to use and tell the broker. When I want to sell stock i have to call my broker and tell them how much and at what price. Sometimes they will call me if they see a good bid on the screen.

I have 6 different brokerages. There aren't many clearing firms but you need a broker dealer to push your shares to clear. Every broker has different rules. At times I feel like they just make them up as they go lol.

One time I was getting pissed my shares weren't clearing for a company and my broker told me some shit that i didn't know about and i asked him is that a rule from finra.. or.. and he was all. Well its not a "law" its just kind of a guide line we have here at "anon brokerage" lol

I know places like TD and Interactive brokers will clear stock, just not all.

>> No.3628758

>>3628652
>Do you think you would've been protected on those convertible notes if you created your own convertible debt instead of buying existing debt?
Yes. My friend and I have an investment business that we started soon after I started doing these investments and we currently have new debt that we are waiting on.

The positive though about buying old debt is that you can convert and sell without the holding period. When creating new debt you don't get your money back for awhile.Old debt you can buy and convert (as long as it's below 4.99% of O/S) then you can sell. It can take about 1-3 weeks from the time of converting shares to the time they are ready to sell. Thats a little faster than 6 months.

The thing about getting known is you also get close relationships with consultants and other investors and they will sometimes find deals for you. Most companies are failures and need to restructure. Thats where an outside investor like myself comes in and helps with the finances behind the clean up. Part of that clean up is old debt.
