Not many people know about it. And because of things like >>3582848 people think Obsidian is just a messaging app when really it's a whole new blockchain platform that will eventually have many apps. The devs just don't want to market it that way until it's closer to completion. I expect Obsidian to reach Stratis prices in 2018.
