I actually think property taxes are pretty fucked up. I used to think all i had to do to make it was have enough to buy a house i like. I can rent it out to friends to pay utilities and buy food.

But you apparently you gotta keep paying just to exist when you already own your home and your land. Is this just the US? or is it like this in every country?

What the fuck happens if your house is paid off, and you have just enough money for basic shit, but not to pay property taxes? does the government really come after you?
