The mining bonus to the founders is only for the first 4 years.
It's only possible for them to increase the supply if all of the people in the signing setup defected. If any of them did their part right, then it's impossible forever for the supply to be increased.

Zcoin had a trusted setup too. They're working on making it not depend on the trusted setup apparently, but I'll factor that in once they accomplish that.
