MTL has had no updates in a long time. Dev team purposefully doesn't release many updates, so weak hands usually drop the coin. MTL is at the lowest point it has been in about a month.

A news update is coming within the next hour or two.

Full disclosure, this is my biggest long term hold. Read into it though and I think you will see why. Last chance to buy before the rise. I wouldn't even be posting this here but I already liquidated what I could and converted to MTL within the past couple of days.

You're not getting the point, dumbass. The bonus is to incentivize participating merchants to adopt the platform. Both the merchant and the customer receive 5% MTL for each transaction. The more widespread and adopted the platform is, the more MTL will succeed. It IS unsustainable by design, this rewards early bird adopters.

It's "up to" 5%. It's not open source I think, but it must go down and I'm interested to see how they'll try to manage abuse (people will surely try to geberate multiple wallet and send themselves money back and forth). What I know is that 19mill metal are out, 21mtl are to be minted by the wallet but I'm not sure how many are reserved for devs and investors.
