What are jobs of the future that will not end up in me being replaced by a robot/foreigner or won't have insane requirements besides a degree?
I am becoming an electrician's apprentice but my parents keep discouraging me. Is trade a bad way to make money?

No. Fuck your parents. My job just started electrician apprentice, he has 5 years of apprentice school at 14 bucks an hour but after that he says it's smooth sailing 100k a year.

Trades make money. Go for it, but keep in mind by around age 40 your joints will start to feel it. Save up extra for early retirement.

Find a job operating/supervising robots & machinery once the robo-apocalypse happens. Until then possibly get some experience operating a CNC machine of some kind.

Why would your parents shit on you for wanting to be an electrician? Do they really want you saddled with tens of thousands of dollars in debit?

Their excuse is "I'm smarter than that". They don't understand that I'm just an average guy. Even if I finished college I would be left with debt and anywhere I try to get a job I would need 3 years experience, a masters degree, be a black Muslim woman, and be the best of the best.
Why would an employer go for me when they can get pajeet for cheaper or get John the guy who finished Harvard with a 4.0 GPA.
Even explaining robots and bitcoin they just go "Uh...well I heard you can be a professional gamer right? You would be great at that." I mean Christ
