So I was trying to figure out how to convert BTC to CAD (yes I'm canadian) and deposit it into my bank account.

And I ran into some information suggesting that if your bank finds out you are involved with bitcoin, they may close your account and it will be big red flag on your credit.

Fuck, what is even the point of this crypto stuff then? I was going to contact my bank tomorrow for information about getting a wire from Kranken but now I'm scared shitless.

I know a guy who works for US Bank and he indicated to me earlier this summer if your bank finds out you are trading bitcoins they will close all of your accounts. No bullshit, this was around early July.
