Never invest more than you can afford to lose.

Mental limit is even more important than percentage of your net worth. You're much more likely to make stupid trades at 3am on your phone if you have too much invested. This will lose you more money than having a smaller initial amount that you make rational decisions with. If this last dip had any major effect on your well being, then that is a clear sign you have invested too much.

Also put your BTC on a hardware wallet and put that shit in a metal safe and throw away the key to the safe. Come back to it in several years.
