I exchanged all my BTC for DRK. I should have sticked to DOGE instead. Now it lost all its value and the network is with multiple forks. I wont be going to the moon.

They are all pump and dumps

Someone has to be left holding all the bags of shit after the dump

The good thing is they usually rebound and the cycle starts again.

Just keep an eye on the charts and you'll be fine

Buying into a bubble was dumb anon. DRK was overinflated you missed the train days ago. It was on shaky ground, X11 coin is the new pump.

that was your first mistake. Never all eggs in one basket, and never bet more than you can afford to lose.
And you should do some 50/50, so you are prepared to buy more if it goes down, or sell if it raises. Stop loss also helps.

Better luck in your future, but you have to play safe

Uh. Which alts have rebounded? Pull up market cap 180 days graphs for 10 random alts right now. Huge pump and dump at the beggining and stagnation.

I tell you faggots every single time.
For stable returns just go long with BTC/LTC.

Then OP goes all in with a 50% premined shitcoin.

Peercoin has been relatively stable actually. It appreciates over time too, which is why I bought into it. It's been consistently in the top 4 since about a year ago.

DRK has gone through a similar cycle to this many times. Goes up a lot, goes down a bit, then goes back up a lot. However, I don't think it will rebound this time. I'm glad I got out when it was at .023.

I bought in again at .045 and literally doubled my money. What the fuck are you glad about son? Shits going back to 13 in a couple days tops.

Also, thank you guys for panic selling DRK thinking it's crashing for the last time when all that's going on is a temp market freeze to fix an error.

>selling your Bitcoin

A good approach for (LONG TERM!) investing in altcoins, is buy the equivalent of the total supply that you have in Bitcoins.

e.g., you start with 10 bitcoins, you have 0.000000476 of the total supply of Bitcoin.

So if you were to invest in, say, Doge with its (roughly, it's inflationary) 100 billion total, you want 0.000000476 * 100 billion = 47,619 DOGE.

Since DRK has the same supply as BTC, you need only 10 DRK.

The implication here is you are betting on there being "one true coin", which might be Bitcoin or might be an alt.

Maybe, though, you are going to accept that Bitcoin will never be overshadowed, so you are betting on which will be the 2nd, the Litecoin replacement? Litecoin is currently valued roughly 10 times less than Bitcoin. (w.r.t. supply)

So to still have the same value as you have in BTC you might want to buy 10 times more proportionally of the altcoin.

So you might buy:
476,190 DOGE
100 DRK

This is a method for long term investors, and those people who still think Bitcoin will remain the king of all coins but just want to hedge a little.

and remember: While altcoins may have more potential of pump n dump moonshots, momma Bitcoin is far less risky. It's almost guaranteed that sometime Bitcoin will go up (at least, in comparison to alts). So unless you like gambling, you should HODL your Bitcoins tight.
