People are posting all this bullshit stuff about getting rich. There are some ways that take longer than others but this is the fastest and most aggressive approach. Literally instant millionaire.

Some background info:
>I was a kid who did terribly at school
>I would read alot about politics but that was my main focus
>That and marketing
>I read a lot of early marketing works and bukowski books
>I vicariously learned how easy it is to get jobs
>I never went to college naturally
>I kept reading and being NEET until 20.
>That was the day my parents told me get a job or you're getting kicked out.

So I contemplated for a bit, I was looking through ads my parents brought me, but I didn't want to flip your burgers or sale you clothing. I wanted to do something big, grandiose. Then I saw an ad for a big marketing company. This is what happens.

>Apply for $250k/yr marketing job
>No experience or education except college
>Submit my job application
>Get no reply
>Walk in the department one day with a suit
>I tell the receptionist I have an interview
>She tells me to sit down and wait for the interview
>I wait
>Finally she says go into office
>I go in and shake hands with another suited man
>He asks what my name is
>Tell him real name
>He tries to find my application
>Can't find it
>Looks in trash, finds it
>Looks at me confused
>He then asks What experience do I have
>Well I use to intern at this company since my dad is Anon (The company owner's name)
>His eyes lighten up
>"Why don't you have his last name?"
>"Kept my mom's name after they divorced"
>He nods and says "so what do you know about marketing?"
>I pretend to think for a second
>"Well, I'm a student of Edward Bernays, I understand the behavior economics and psychology of the modern day market. I understand that the supply must actively attempt to create the demand."
>He nods
>"How can you contribute?"
>"Just by my presence here, I've already begun the process of marketing an entirely new campaign for your company. Now, All I have to do is call up reporters and tell them why they need to write about this product today."
>"And how would you get them to do that?"
>I lie, "I have connections, I know a couple of reporters for CNN and NYtimes. Went to HS with them."
>"Ok, thanks I'll be contacting you to let you know if you get the job."
>Go home, no call in a couple of weeks.
>Figured he found out I was lying.
>One day, get a call.
>Get the job.
>Been working there ever since, and when people ask me where I went to school I say Rice University.
>Tfw when everyone believes me.

The secret to getting rich, as is to anything, is a very very aggressive approach. If you need to go on the defensive, be insidiously offensive. Think moves ahead, life is a game of chess, we're all pawns but if you move like the queen you can become it.

I was surprised too, I went to the job interview just do please my parents. But really if you think about it its a giant company, the CEO prob has had tons of wives, and most CEO's keep their business life and personal life separate. My plan is that if the guy who hired me ever tells the CEO they hired "his son, my name". I'll just say I never told the interviewer that.

You simply don't believe it because you are in denial. Although, the story is slightly surprising, you want to think you didn't waste your time on a college degree. Sorry but let me leave you with an ancient parable: life's not fair.

Been doing some research and found out that lying on your CV can land you a prison sentence in the UK. In America, the only thing you can't lie about is your Education credentials on your Resume, interesting enough you can make up stories about your work experience like you were once a freelancer for the tooth fairy. In your circumstance, I'd figure out a contingency plan if the company you work reaches for legal action.

I'll admit walking into a company and saying you got an interview is fucking genius and I'm willing to bet you would have a higher chance of actually getting an interview than you would through traditional job seeking.

I kind of want to believe you OP, I certainly think that the secret of rising through the ranks of traditional employment is certainly aggression and the ability to bullshit.

If losing this job is a risk, maybe you could start applying for new positions before you get fired (and no bullshit for the new positions, simply use this as your credentials).

Having said all this - actually reading a fuck ton about marketing is probably easily as good as a university education. Obviously it is your natural interest and you put in a lot of work and effort, this certainly isn't getting "instantly" rich.

>interesting enough you can make up stories about your work experience like you were once a freelancer for the tooth fairy.

this seems like the easiest way to get away with anything

anyone with a bit of brains could throw up a cheap website online that looks "professional" that says that you are a super experienced freelancer in whatever industry

during your interview just show the people your website and say you've been doing shit for years, if they ask for specifics tell them you sign NDA's with all your clients so you can't go into details

A friend of mine dropped out of college a few months before graduating
He forged graduation papers and applied for a sales job in America and managed to get it somehow.
Luckily for him he was good at his job, and even after he told his manager the truth he was told that it didn't matter because his sales figures were much better than anyone elses.
He's 23 and he's earning $6k a week which is bretty gud

The only secret to getting rich is this: Buy more. That way you will be getting more for your worth while also helping the rest of the people to do the same. We all should be buying all the time. Buy expensive things that last, and buy groceries in bulk. Pre-pay all bills for years, start buying christmas gifts mid-year, lend money to someone trusty, buy many things on amazon, do anything with your money except storing it in a bank. A year on, you will be exactly as if you had spent all you had or if you had spent nothing.

99% of people who do make a good investment, take the money and run. For example a guy makes $100K on an investment he made in college for some engineering or computer science club project. That project turned into a company and later was sold and he made the $100K. Instead of re-investing that $100K, he buys a new car or boat. This is why poor stay poor.
