Simple question, gents:

Which wallet do you use?

I'm currently holding my ETH in Jaxx, and I plan to buy OMG in next couple of days, what's the best option for that? Exodus?

I use myetherwallet for both OMG and ETH. Don't really have any complaints.

Is paper wallet the best option for cold, long term storage?

If you can't afford a hardware wallet yes

I use a USB drive with the private key stored on it. I can then decrypt that into Etherwall, metamask, MyEtherWallet, or geth. But generally I dont need to since im just hodling, and receiving doesnt need a private key.

I hope that you have a backup. Usb sticks often just stop working after years.

Don't use Jaxx.

tl;dr it stores a backup of your wallet in a way that is easy for an attacker to recover.

good question, i use Exodus and i like it. I use it for BTC and ETH

i tried jaxx but found it... good but weird. i can't quite explain. i've stopped using it.

but jaxx does support more CC.

so for all the alt coins, do they each have their own software you use (if you dont want to keep your shit on an exchange?) or do they generally end up in some kind of larger software like exodus or jaxx?

But if I store my Jaxx installation on external HDD that's sitting in my closet, isn't that enough?
