I want to create sexy things and get paid for them online, but I don't want my real name or identity associated with any of it. How would I go about this? I read that setting up a business account with PayPal would work, but I wanted to know if anyone had any better ideas. Assume I'm an idiot who has no idea what they're doing.

No need to assume my good friend!

To what extent do you not want to have your identity associated? I use a pseudonym for all my "sexy" activity, but for 2257s I obviously have my real ID on file and I pay taxes on my earnings that I am directly connected to, but not on money that is paid to me by individuals I shoot with. If you want to go about things the legal way and if you're shooting with anybody who is at all professional you'll at least have to do the 2257s.

Oh, but if you're just creating art or something (your post is pretty vague) the business account with Paypal should help. Not sure if you'd be able to avoid using your real name somewhere if you're producing "sexy things" with real people.

It would just be artwork, yeah. And I'd want it as far removed from my real name as possible because when I do make a professional name for myself, I don't want anything objectionable to pop up anywhere.

So if I did set up that business account, should I transfer the earned money to a temp Visa or something? Will that look unnecessarily shady?

>> No.342314

Even if it looks shady, it isn't actually unless you make enough that you should be paying taxes on it. If they flag you, just prove you aren't doing anything criminal. Paypal will shutdown accounts that they think are dealing in porn though, it's against their TOS.

You need a bank account for a business, (pick any random name) - and somewhere there will be a way to edit the name revealed to customers - you edit that name to the name of your business and the bank account tied to it.

Is the easiest solution to making money anonymously.

But, let's say you get a website going - you'll need to make sure your personal information is private when you register the domain (or choose a fake name and po box for address).

Use someone else, like your friend OP. Register a business paypal account.

OP, are you selling furry porn? That is what "questionable artwork" usually means on the internet.

Not quite porn (yet), but generally yeah. I mean, they'd basically be normal pin-ups but with dog heads and whatnot, and you'd be amazed at what people will pay for that crap. I figured it would be easy money if I could somehow keep it a secret online identity.

lol, so I guessed correctly.

No, I'm not amazed, I fully realise what losers furries are and how much they are willing to pay for shitty artwork
