Not really. You can't beat the system unless you are extremely lucky. Just one month trying to trade will be enough to rid you of any dreams you have of being some super autistic genius that can predict patterns in the market or whatever.

if OP actively puts in money like say 3K a year, then he can cut that number down to about 46 years.

A better 'investment' for OP would be to learn a skill that makes him valuable to employers, a job that pays them 80-120K a year will more rewarding than to simply wait for their investments to turn into 1M bucks
