Stock Market Crashes, What Happens to Crypto?

If another gfc was to occur, it would be interesting to see how the crypto market reacts. I can't imagine that there's going to be an influx of money into the market as people are going to be holding their cash extremely close to their chest and wouldn't risk their savings on such a volatile market as crypto. But I also can't imagine that crypto is going to crash with stocks.

Smart money leaves crypto to buy stocks on sale, dumb money sells stocks at a loss and invests in crypto. Crypto dips, dumb money sells at a loss, crashes crypto.

I think your post is well thought out but I think Krypto will crash at the same time as the stock market because of dumb money.

They will not understand that the two things are separate and people will sell there coins so crypto will fall at the same rate in the short-term. After about a week crypto will recover while the stock market continues to crash. And then the smart money that didn't get out in the earliest stages of the crash will invest in the stock market and you will see a dip in crypto ultimately averaging things out. wild a star market continues to crash. And then the smart money that didn't get out in the earliest status well in the stock market and you'll see a dip in frisco old dominion averaging things out.
