Why isn't Silicon Valley more of a player in blockchain tech. Isn't that where the smart kids sit?

>> No.3364394

>silicon valley
>smart kids
They are just a bunch of jews overlord with an army of underpaid pajeets and swj women

>> No.3364404

Because blockchain is 99% a scam.

silicon valley is a bunch of in debt college graduates that have access to advanced tech but have no idea how the hell to effectively and economically apply it
for example the juicero

the are buthurt they missed out, and they cant make money out of it, not software to sell. Old corps cannot into bTC by its forced open source nature. Also any one who can program would launch their own coin, and no need to be a wage / venture cuck.

>> No.3365163

Silicon valley dont innovate anymore, they haven't for a long time.

Every "start-up" in the past decade at Silicon Valley is a Big Tech companies pet project which they fund for millions and watch it grow. Not organic at all.

>> No.3365283

silicon valley will unironically fall apart when they force diversity in all their companies and hire unqualified women and minorities. Asia is already taking over the world.

This doesn't explain why America isn't onboard with this. It's probably because in the future America won't matter so much. Muh world power status is going to be gone

Silicon Valley is the vanguard of the tech establishment. They're comfy. They aren't interested in any truly disruptive technologies. Crypto is tech counterculture.

>> No.3365503

>>3364285

Since blockchain essentially aims at decentralizing the web it goes against the centralized information corporations like Google. Crypto is a threat to them as no one essentially "owns" a cryptocurrency outright unless it is pre-mined and supply is held off the market. They don't promote that which is a means to end their monopoly on information.

The future will be P2P not P2C2P. This is also why government is concerned. No control between users and no way to effectively tax. Only poor people will be paying the government price and attached to the hip to Google...those who can't afford crypto and have no other options.

>>3364394
this. Big companies are now too rich they can just afford to buy smart people's ideas, they don't need to hire them. They then employ average to mediocre pajeets and code monkey to make it more user friendly, and a bunch of swj to make it more trans-gender friendly

>> No.3365801

>>3364394

So much this. Silicon Valley is essentially turning into the rust belt now. Very little actual innovation is going to be taking place there in the coming decades. The truly disruptive technologies are born and mature elsewhere these days.

You are not informed well. Silicon Valley is shit nowdays for startups. The whole real estate/housing is fucked now. The expenses are too high. Might as wel go to a other city country.

Bitcoin was revolutionary. No "altcoin" has as of yet brought something useful to the table. Silicon Valley services real world companies with solutions to real world business processes. When multinationals go to one of these companies,it's to inprove their business processes so in the future they make more money.
The fact that no multinational has integrated crypto into any mission critical process speaks volumes. It's mostly a meme and buzzword. Most coins are pyramid schemes. Big money investors got in because there are idiots to be fleeced, not because this is the economy of the future.

You're trolling but I'll bite. Read up on OMG (ignore the hype and memes rampant on biz right now) and what the company has --already-- established and what they plan to do.

Consider just how soon crypto currency as payment will go mainstream once they roll out the big guns and ask yourself why wouldn't any company adopt a cheaper, more secure, and faster payment infastructure.
