I want to turn € 5,000 half into BTC and half into ETH.
I already have a Coinbase and a GDAX account.

I thought about:

1. Sending them to GDAX.
2. Bying ~ € 2500 of BTC and ~ € 2500 of ETH.
3. Withdrawing both BTC and ETH to their Coinbase wallets.
4. Storing BTC in a Vault.

Thoughts?

Just use proper wallets. Both are long term holds, only brainlets keep stuff in exchange wallets.

But on point (4) I store my BTC on the Coinbase Vault.
There is no option on Coinbase for ETH Vault.
