3212186 No.3212186 [Reply] [Original]

>Several members of the US Congress are drafting legislation that is intended to recognize certain digital currencies and protect them against interference from the federal government.
>The bill, which will provide protection to cryptocurrencies that comply with certain minimum requirements to prevent them from being used by those engaged in illegal business practices like drug traffickers and terrorists, is expected to be filed in September 2017, according to DailyCaller.

Apparently, congressmen are also working with a private company to develop an anti-money laundering compliant cryptocurrency which will be sponsored by the government. If you think about it, by moving to a blockchain style economy with centralized control, the gov will have total control over the economy, moreso than they do now with the fed and its interest rate levers.

Is this why monero's pumping? The hardcore libertarian millionaires who adopted bitcoin early on are fighting back against (((them))).

Literally nobody would buy this shit with some many superior alternatives available, and by the time they really start getting task forces together to enforce it we'll all be rich enough off our NEO and OMG to move to Asia and watch the west burn.

They fucked up and lost control.

We are going to have the media against us very soon. That is in their arsenal. Think long term. Knowing what we know from our invested time on 4chan. Able to create the timelines we want to see. I digress. How can we profit from the inevitable battle Crypto will soon fight?

Invest in Monero and other decentralized anonymous coins. They should shoot up at the start as people wait for the storm.

After that it's a waiting game, the gov might just try to quietly pass the bill without too much attention like they did with the FCC.

The government won't use the media to bash crypto and demonize it, they will simply stop anyone from talking about it and keep them in the dark until they reign in full control.

You have to be a moron to not realize it's inevitably going this way. and there's no stopping it because 90% of people will read this without noticing the trickery:

>provide protection to cryptocurrencies that comply with certain minimum requirements to prevent them from being used by those engaged in illegal business practices

>>3212331
>We are going to have the media against us very soon

Cosmopolitans have already developed the "cryptocurrency is cryptofascist capital flight" meme enough for it to permeate into the buzzfeed/slate section of the media. There will 100% be a mass hysteria campaign against decentralized crypto within five years if congress doesn't quietly kill it first.

Get rich before shit hits the fan so your upward mobility isn't hindered by the state.

Or be a bank. We all know the real flippening is when financial institutions will be allowed to hide the extent to which they were whaling long before crypto got uncle sam's approval. Good news goyim we can now create infinite cybercoins using math that doesn't exist!

So in other words, this legislation is going to kill Bitcoin but protect BurgerKing Coin and Amazon Coin, AND it has the added benefit of killing internet anonymity. Fantastic.

Ultimately the future goal for anything tech related should be completed decentralization. Not just of money but of networks as well. Datacaps are already here and are designed to make it so running darknet nodes are more costly. Everyone thought their plan was to outright ban tor but now they can just tell the isps to just throttle the shit out of tor users.

The future is going to be mesh nets and some sort of crypto coin that doesn't require internet to be used.

Anything that relies upon any centralized infrastructure of any kind will be in jeopardy.
