It was a 95% ICO offering but the problem is the ICO only raised like $15,000, so you've got some serious megawhales out there now who lucked out by investing early and are now waiting for their moment to pounce with who knows how many XSPEC ready to unload. I mean, good for those guys but I don't know if I'd want to get caught in the crossfire.

If you put $1000 into the ICO would have netted you something like 2 million XSPEC and would now be the #1 holder. (#1 holder only has 1.5 million XSPEC.)

You value a currency based on what you can buy with it.
You still profit essentially from deflation. But instead of watching the number against USD rise, you just watch prices fall.
That pizza you could buy with 1BTC back in the day? Hell it'll be a couple satoshi, or whatever other currency is running.

Regardless, it could still be valued against a hypothetical USD value even without technical dependency.
USD being optional to actually use anywhere.
Well, that requires getting rid of the legal support for USD. Allowing debts to be paid with alternatives, allowing employers to pay just the same, allowing taxes if they can track shit.

When we say we want to buy drugs in monero, we mean the illegal kind. Say for instance, I want to buy a pound of weed from CO and get it shipped to wherever I live. >>3214903
Yes. It was designed to handle a direct hit from a 2.5mt nuke (largest missile payload back then). Air scrubbers and filters for NBC, EMP shielded, the full package. It was an air command center during the cold war, the room in the pic is just one of the parts in the mountain they never finished. Got a nice home cinema room on the third level and a gaming room on the 2nd level.

Monero will most likely keep rising this week due to the Asian trading. I'd dump the LTC, buy Monero, sell in a few days for quick profit (if you need it) or hold for a few months to see how it settles.

Fiber. Running 2x10g, but there 172 fiber pairs available.

A lot of dust, I need to buy a small army of roombas, as for spider none. There are no bugs as there is nothing to eat down here, so no spiders.

Someone did that here as well. A bunker was bought by a Hells Angels member, they got caught due a tip from a farmer who contacted the police because of excessive traffic on his rural dirt road to the bunker. When they stopped a van it was packed full of weed, largest grow operation they have ever seized here. They know vet all potential buyers. Had to sit down with our equivalent of FBI before the signing of the property (if only they knew!).

Does anyone know how different the effect is when the announcement of the listing on an exchange is divorced from the actual listing on the exchange? Which of these effects are likely to actually do the heavy lifting with regards to price movement?

For example right, when EOS went live on Kraken, the announcement happened at the same time as the listing, so it was obviously going to go up since all of a sudden it was available to a new market some of whom would choose to buy it, so I bought a bunch at $1 and sold it at $4.

This time though, the announcement happened a few days before the actual listing. After the announcement but before the listing, the price has gone up a lot. If it's the announcement that causes the movement, and you don't actually reach that many interested new people on the actual exchange, does that mean that when monero actually goes live on bithumb that the price won't go up that much? What is a reasonable estimation of the demand increase from being tradable on the market when it's removed from the price increase that has already happened due to the announcement of the listing?

If NSA had cracked encryption, they wouldn't need to backdoor everything, which they do, since they can't crack the encryption ciphers these days.

What you should worry about is them firing up their super computer and taking over the mining network.
