So when they talk about Smart Contracts and stuff, what is the most likley platform they will run on. A lot of these guys FUD on Ethereum being used by banks or any coin being used by banks because "they will just make their own" but that is dependent on knowing what the actual functions banks want from a blockchain?

I read a really interesting article saying that blockchains would be a great improvement to keeping vital documents, especially refugees, because the decentralization makes forging or fudging the documents hard, but also means that you don't need your physical passport when requesting asylum.

How likely is that to be implemented?
