It was a pretty big and respected Canadian one, I'll leave it at that. The way it worked was when you retake a course it wipes the previous one from your GPA. Or maybe it takes the best score. Either way it wasn't an issue. I almost got my GPA to a 3 despite failing so much.

The thing is I didn't even include my GPA on my resume and had no issues getting interviews, seems nobody cares. Guess if you had a 3.9 it wouldn't hurt to stick that on there though
