Instead of buying the dip I actually usually buy the hype with my bitcoin. Last month for example I bought into the Avax and FTM hype and did a 7x with that part of my cryptos. But I am not entirely convinced of them, because they are interchangeable. So I didn't keep it. If Bat shows movement I'll put more into it. Crypto in general suffers from large amounts of unregulated whale manipulation. I was invested in REN for awhile but decided to give it up after it mooned I watched the graph for REN do utterly bonkers shit because whales were manipulating the price. They successfully stopped the moon and reversed every fucking price increase, all of it.

BAT is likely suffering from the same problems. The only reason coins break out in the first place is because whales allow them to or the demand for the coin is so great that whales would stand to lose too much money attempting to destroy its value. UNI and link are a good examples of what I'm referring to.

It's a combination of wanting to buy cheaper coins and pure sadism. Yes I'm serious, they enjoy having so much power that they can completely fuck markets over.

During bull runs people are literally market buying regardless of the price. So a whale would dump a market sell for say 10 cents lower, flooding the market with lower value coins but people are still buying regardless of the price.

If price goes back up, whale will dump again. What ends up happening is it creates fear in people who are holding the coins and they're more likely to sell hoping to take a profit before it crashes back down. When they sell it creates the trickle down effect that the whale was hoping to achieve.

Now the whale who dumped all his coins at 80 cents can rebuy at 65 cents cuz of the idiots who kept selling after he dumped.

You can see blatant market manipulation like this during bull runs for this very reason.
