Sorry fellow marines. I know it will be used to suppress the price, but I just can't take missing out on free money.

What do you think people borrow tokens for? Currently the only use for them is to sell them on the exchange in the expectation the price will go down aka shorting link. Do you know of another method of earning from link that doesn’t in some way contribute to short sellers?

I don’t know if you’re low iq or actual shills, but it should be obvious that if you’re lending link out people are using it to short with. Even if there’s an intermediate step where you use it as collateral, do you think the lender is just letting your collateral sit there doing nothing? No, they are either lending it out to short sellers or leveraging it in some new intermediate step which eventually leads to a short seller.

really good job btfo a schizo nigger, i am a 2018 link holder and i hate the fucking price suppression narrative. it never made any sense, LINK was low because we autists were the fucking only ones who saw the rise coming. and now it's getting fucked because Sergey is dumping millions of LINK weekly to support node operators and to hire staceys. that's the only thing that you can call price suppression, basically the opposite of a stock buyback

but at the end of the day you still owe tokens independent of the usd value. people borrow stablecoins and then buy tokens. they dont borrow tokens hoping they appreciate.

>> No.30363134

>>30362682
That's how you leverage your assets.
If you think Link is going up and you have a Link stack you can get some USDC on it on AAVE to buy more Link with your stack as a collateral.
It's a lot cheaper than margin trading on Binance, but the leverage is also smaller.

For an institution they don't need to use AAVE to get more $, they can act as a bank and print more $ just by having Link or any other crypto in their wallet. this explains why some CeFi only seem to keep Link in their wallets withotu moving it because they only use it as a collateral.
Obviously this works mainly in a bull market but that's what we currently have.

We knew about the JWO using link to complete the enslavement of the goyim back in 2018. We're the swabmarines and we're going to escape the bug-eating pod life by owning link. Yeah it sucks, but the only people who were trying to prevent this lost in 1945.

It’s not newfags. You can tell by how aggressively they react to the obvious refutation that borrowers borrow in order to sell that they have skin in the game. They’re probably short and need more liquidity to keep the price down.

>> No.30363406

>>30363134
the original scenario you presented was that someone puts up collateral, borrows link, and uses that link as collateral for more link. there's no point in borrowing link other than to short it. yes, i completely understand the concept of throwing up a stack of link as collateral for stablecoins to buy more link.
