Thinking about depositing LINK into Celsius and taking a loan about 15% of the value of my LINK(for example $50k LINKs, $7500 loan). Has anyone had any experience with Celsius? I understood that they use Chainlink for their price feeds and even if a margin call happens, I would have 12 hours to add additional collateral. I don't want to use Aave since I would need to mess with the ledger and fees are like $200.

It's a nice platform and (((Mashinsky))) is pretty cool considering that he seems committed to providing his customer base with good services and high APY while simultaneously wanting to fuck with the big banks. Removing crypto (especially large amounts) can be a pain in the ass and changing a withdrawal address places a 24-hour freeze on your account. They do pay all network and transaction fees which is absolutely based. 1% interest loans for USD or stablecoins with a LTV of 25% is fantastic.

Yeah I like the fact he isn't some unkown guy from bumfuck nowhere as well. He has a nice track record and overall seems quite based. I'm thinking as long as I keep a health factor of 3x, I'll be ok since Chainlink price feeds don't take into account some exchange flash crashes.

Go for it. I took out 2 loans of 700, one stablecoin other cash in account. It's probably gonna be my go to when I sell off my fat PRQ stack. Can't wait. Whole process was pretty seamless. They have a 1% interest rate per year which is insane, so just do a 25% LTV and go for it.

This is Celsius. Do what you will with this information.

Other than "Not your keys not your coin", is there any reason not to put a good chunk of my portfolio on there to earn some APY% ?

i've had my link on celsius for months but for some reason if i were to take out a loan using my link as collateral i'd still use aave

Nexo and Blockfi have higher APY for LINK.
