The best argument for GRT is that there are no competitors.
Who cares if they're not around yet? They don't need to be if the product doesn't have a huge, insurmountable barrier to entry. Simply put, the project is extremely easy to copy. There’s nothing stopping a dex like pancakeswap from forking it to BSC.

I agree that GRT has first mover advantage. But Salesforce is still Salesforce despite being late to the game after Act! or Siebel Sales Handheld. Zoom was founded nearly ten years after Skype, yet the latter is on its last legs. And there are thousands of such examples. Platforms that rely on network effect, conversely, have a much more significant first mover advantage (social media, ecommerce, etc.).

I hear the comparisons to LINK and laugh my ass off. There is inherent value in the chainlink network because of node reputation. GRT can be cloned with no loss of functionality, LINK can't. GRT doesn't need to establish trust, it just needs to convert data from one format to another. If the library was clientside then you could validate its output yourself.

I mean pancakeswap tried to do it themselves but had to publically ask for the graphs help. https://www.binance.org/en/blog/the-graph-brings-indexing-and-querying-to-binance-smart-chain/
And now they are officially using The Graph
https://thegraph.com/explorer/subgraph/pancakeswap/exchange
I know you're just fudding for fun but I get boners when I think about how huge GRT will be.

My buddy who is a web developer (HTMLl, CSS, AND Visual Basic) advised me that this is the "stupidest project I've ever seen" he said google will create a competitor and render GRT useless. He also said barely anyone uses APIs anymore and that this project came out 4 years too late.. which worries me because this projects been in development since 2017, maybe they took too long and it's now outdated vaporware? I've already lost $10,000 on this and I think I'm selling.

My buddy's wife's sister who was trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein a decade ago and is now one of the most renown escorts in Zurich said that the Bilderburg higher ups she does dominatrix buttplay stuff with are all raving about the instrumental role GRT will play in searching the blockchain for small transactions to dissident podcasts and content creators and will be huge in securing the occupants of the coming gulag pods. It's not gonna be the global reserve currency like an elastic supply benchmarking protocol that rebases to SDRs will be, but it'll be a pretty important token for the coming rule by our oligarchical betters.

Yes it's extremely simple. The graph website has an idiot proof how-to. The real challenge is researching indexers and balancing profit with reliability.
