Okay, /biz/, let's say I'm not a compulsive gambler and actually plan to keep 80% of my portfolio in safe cryptocurrency, while only putting 20% into shitcoins. How should I distribute that 80%? Half in BTC and half in ETH? 3/4 in one and 1/4 in another? Is there a 3rd coin I should consider?

Might consider some hedge from BTC into BCC. I am not enough of an expert to know what is up with the mining profitability and all the hype around a potential flip. Right now I have BTC, ETH, and LTC, going to dump the LTC for BCC and some shitcoin trading. Keeping more in ETH than BTC atm but that's just my two cents. Gotta do your own research.

I've heard that BCC becomes more profitable than BTC to mine when it hits $400, but that was off some rando internet article. Thanks for the advice, I was thinking ETH was currently the safe bet.

You BTC/ETH ratios are excellent.

There is no single rule for buying shitcoins, just make sure they have not been pumped before.

Monero if you want slow steady gains. Once the darknet markets start using it, people it will buy no matter what the price is. It will be top 5 thus time next year
