If they can unload their old tokens now yes they stand to profit because they will be worthless when the devs ‘rollback’ the project. But by now exchanges are probably halting trading. Those that dumped their tokens on exchanges will stand to profit. Those that did not will gain nothing and the new tokens will probably be worth less because of the ‘hack’.
