Not even close. Right now South Africa is facing multiple self-inflicted problems. Failure to maintain their treatment plants have caused their water supply to be on the breaking point of no return. The coal power industry basically got destroyed by the corruption allowed to later happen with the coal industry. Basically they cheated by adding rocks to the coal to make it look like they were shipping the same amount. Problem with not sorting it correctly is the rocks inside the power plant generator blocks up instead of burning like coal. So they had to shut down & repair often. Now the power plants cant trust any coal arriving to be pure coal like before.
