so basically this, but code as in solidity and other stuff, i have 0 idea about coding and some crypto knowledge and i was just wondering if someone who has knowledge in blockchain coding can think like "wow this project and the code is amazing, easily worth 1billion marketcap", you get me? Thanks!

Learning to code in of itself won't make you a better investor. But if you're smart enough to learn how to code well and learn about how blockchains work on a fundamental level, you will probably do better than the average brainlet moonboy

No. If coding expertise and project success had any correlation in crypto you wouldn’t see stuff like Doge reaching billions of marketcap.
Crypto investing is all about market psychology.

True! I did fine without the knowledge of code, but idk, I thought maybe coders can know shit better, but ur right, anyways, thanks guys ur dope :D

No, I am a programmer and have only lost money so far. This market shit is about trends and predictions and feelings

Same. it helps you understand the technical white papers etc. easier a little. Maybe helps you determine if the project is viable or not but you still lose your ass in trading.

as a non professional programmer i can tell you that its all vaporware. there is a reason why btc is the top dog, and its because its a finished product that despite its flaws, it works. that said, the most gains will be made on vaporware, you just have to now that you are buying into something without any value that will pump and eventually dump and convert those to satoshis.
i wish we had peer 2 peer decentralized currency that is cheap and fast, but we have a semi-decentralized expensive and slow digital gold, and im am VERY confident it will remain that way for the forseeable future. i hope i am wrong, but if some tech doesnt improve in 3 years, it probably will stay like that. we are at currently sitting at 10 or so years of BTC and it's essentially the same, with any changes beeing at least controversial. there is merit in both big blocks and small blocks.
about defi and blockchain as a platform for dapps: there arent many use cases and it suffers from the same technological issues as BTC. defi seems great on paper but you still need centralized solutions to feed the p2p network, and at that point the benefits of decentralization almost vanishes entirely while still retaining all of the problems related to decentralized systems

thanks for reading my blog

It'll turn you into a submissive political faggot who wants to be enslaved and will willingly work towards that goal.

Yes. I was mainly an ops guy back in 2017, but I've been working full time as a programmer since 2018. I've done far better this time around than I did in 2017. Don't fall for scams, can identify projects with solid fundamentals early, and ride the easy 2-3x before they moon.
>But in a crypto bull run muh fundamentals don't matter
Bullshit, they matter if you want to get into projects early and not just get scammed.

This is the conclusion I recently came to after spending 3+ years in the market and falling for a bunch of "the next ETH" vaporware scams

not a bad choice, wont make you 10X though

It's beyond just learning code, you need to learn the fundamentals of computer science, distributed systems, etc. More advanced stuff, helps you finally with a technical backing select why you would truly back something. Not sure it's necessary though but it does help a lot with spotting great tech early on due to fundamentals and knowing how to filter shit.
