Doesn't need to be a blockchain and that's why nobody is using it.

elaborate please
also, its not a blockchain, anon

Also the fact that 6 people own more than half of the tokens meaning they would get it all of the time. If they got together it would mean no privacy.... completely defeating the purpose...

Anon its a Blockchain.
https://docs.nucypher.com/en/latest/api/nucypher.blockchain.html

NU is just a Public Key Encryption System, you don't need a blockchain to accomplish what NU does, could just use Email or w/e you want since at the end of it all you're transporting Encrypted data

NU relies on having a third party hosting the data:

A Business could easily create their own app for Asymetric Encryption as needed, no need for NU.

i hate that i bought this shit coin near the top. just hoping it hits $1 eventually so i can sell.

I liked the tokenomics on this but it just means it will be used as a pump and dump by Coinbase whales every now and then

I think you're totally missing the point, anon

firstly, it's not a blockchain per se, but it rather builds an encryption layer on top of whichever blockchain it's running on (currently, on ethereum as it's erc20, but will probably expand in the future)

furthermore, it's not just simple PKE, but it implements blockchain access control and efficient PKE via proxy reencryption

really, using pke to exchange data on the blockchain and separately reencrypting data for each recepient is really not that efficient

not to mention that centralized KMSs are also a problem, and nothing stopping the mit pgp keyserver (or literally any other keyserver) from modifying my public keys, delivering modified public keys to clients and decrypting all of the data sent my way, encrypted with the public key they got from whichever centralized kms

Nu allows one to work with encrypted data without actually seeing the decrypted data. You cant get that with proofpoint lmao

>> No.30245320

agreed I think I'm done with nu
I bought at .76
Everyone hyped the shit adn it went from like .20 to .20 in less than a month and it's just stopped between .65 and .85
Once it hits .85 I'm out. Fuck this faggot coin.

Dropped 50 bucks when I first heard about it at .92 just as a fuck it, why not. Regretted it the second I hit the transact button. Usually read the white paper a dozen or more times and research dev teams for a few days before I buy anything. Faggot tranny dev posts on /biz/, immediately feel sick to my stomach. Gonna let it drop to .01 then sell to punish myself for buying this faggot shit. Christ.... It's not a lot of money to me but it could have been some LINK or GRT or w/e.

i mentioned this last night, im not touching this thing until after april, look at this release schedule.
https://www.nucypher.com/nu-release-schedule.pdf

i think it can do well just by having the word security slapped on it but its not ripe
