I recommend Coinbase as a good starting exchange, it’s shit, but it’s the easiest if you are new. Once you learn the ropes I highly recommend switching to a different exchange though.

CoinMetro is a great on-ramp and platform, but don't sign up without learning more about it first. And yes, alternatively there is Coinbase. If not CM then CB is your best bet sadly.
Also, since you've been polite, I'll help out with one more thing - I don't trust 99% of anons here, but I bought PRQ because the CEO of CoinMetro, a fairly tenured and experienced man, does AMAs every Friday where he gives advice on the crypto space and answers questions.
In short, he's a public figure with a lot to lose and a lot of experience, so I use him as my personal baseline. I don't trust random YouTubers who pretty much just shill for a living - Kevin owns an exchange so his neck is on the line.
