>slept for 8 hours every day of my life, always felt groggy waking up, low energy throughout the day
>reduced sleep to 6 hours a night, wake up instantly, high energy all day with no drawback

i've literally wasted over 8% of my life sleeping.

Could it have something to do with waking up in the wrong part of a sleep cycle? I’m not bothered to look up durations for each part but maybe?

I remember seeing a product years ago that was basically a watch that monitored your bios as you slept. You set the alarm for a range of like 45 minutes and it would wake you up within that range at the optimal time for your sleep cycles.
Anyone know of a current product like this?

What a coincidence. Went to sleep at midnight and woke up at 5am. Never felt better.

this is 100% correct
alarm cucks always ruin their day by waking up in the middle of a cycle. It's better to wake up naturally. Sometime that will be 6 hours, 6.5 hours and sometimes it will be 9 hours. If you're a wagecuck and you absolutely need to be up at a certain hour, most often it's better to just wake up earlier at the end of cycle.

A sleep cycle is 90 minutes so try waking up after 7.5 hours instead of waking up 30 minutes into a new cycle

Your lifespan increases with more sleep, so you aren't gaining anything. You're just getting two hours now instead of later.
