New to cryptomemes and about to make my first deposit. Are all the advice videos from a few months back still correct, that a 50/50 split on BTC/ETH is the best way to consistently make profit to start spending on other currencies?

I'm gonna start with 100 - 500 (likely the 500) depending on how confident I feel when I get around to it, just wanted any advice you guys can give even if I know I'll get cucked

Put 80-90% of your money on good respectable shit like ETH, BTC, XMR and the rest on shitcoin you think will moon like what happened with NEO and what's happening with OMG

Don't buy in at ATH ever and don't buy/sell emotionally. Have strong hands.

This is invaluable, thanks man. This is some money I don't mind losing, so I don't think I'll be emotionally invested unless I suddenly make retarded bank for no reason and palms get sweaty, but I don't think I'm nearly that lucky. Just gonna play the safe game and spend profits on the riskier coins, treating it like a second bank.

If I had to pick one over the other, is ETH a better option for when I'm unsure between the big 2 - 3? I've heard tell that it'll raise higher that BTC, but I'm still relatively uneducated about the deeper parts of finance

I was thinking about spending the first few months seeing how memecoins actually profit, before deciding whether I wanted to go for the super long term, or just start gambling my profits away. Would you say that 40/40/20, with the 20 in something like Ark (or whatever I think will moon) would be the best bet?

It's funny how no coiners talk, you have no idea what you getting yourself into.

20% would be reasonable sure
You really don't need to hold more that 4, 5 coins
I wouldn't consider it diversifying when even BTC is so speculative, so a few bigger coins and few shit coins of your choice is pretty good

The reason I brought up ETH, BTC and XMR is because they're all established coins with actual value and real life applications, Bitcoin because it's Bitcoin Ethereum because of the supercomputer shit and Monero because it's literally gonna be used by everyone who wants to buy drugs and not get their door kicked down. Out of those three ETH is gonna make the fastest profits but is the most risky and Monero is the most stable with really slow but consistent gain and I've put over 10k in it as a long-term hodl. Good luck anon.
