Your devs have done nothing of note for 3 years, and are still clinging to state channel layer 2 solutions which do not scale. Sure maybe, you could have 100 or so people trading on the dex with some micro amount. But the lightning network will never allow for millions of daily traders per day, so it's all kinda pointless. Very easy to see why people hate this project. Because the shills are so incredibly stupid and don't want to admit that the team has chosen to go down the wrong path for layer 2.

Also, the X9 team is not developing any layer 2 system on their own. So they're entirely reliant on lightning and connext updates. One bug, or may bugs, found in those two projects halts the entire process. Not that any of that matters though, because state channel layer 2 systems will never on board millions of users.

You should do some very basic reading to get a grasp of what state channels are.

My biggest concern about state channels not scaling is quite simple. For one, say you had 1million open channels (which will never happen anyway, but still) and all those channels try to close at the one time. The BTC blockchain would never be able to process all those transactions,and people would be left with unsecured funds. There's no real way to stop this, if you make a minimum closing/opening time on the channels, then you're taking away the ability for users to control their funds. So it's a bit shit.

The other is the micro payment system. Transactions on state channels are designed for minute transactions. There is a high frequency of failed transactions right now due to low liquidity in nodes. This will eventually lead to the even greater centralization of LN nodes. Where 1 or 2 will essentially hold the majority of liquidity. This is happening now, with hardly any users. Imagine what it will be like in the future. You also have the problem of LN transactions needed to be built up instantaneously. So every time there is a transaction, the LN node has to calculate the balances. This is a massive task if there is many nodes/users. The computer hardware required for this will be no small feat. Not saying it's for plebs anyway, but again. You're going to stop the little guy from running a node, so the big players can run one on their server. Essentially like BSC is just now. To get speed, you have to reduce decentralization. BTC maxis don't like that.

If you want to withdraw the xsn, close your channels....

If you want to swap for btc you will need to open a btc channel rental. The simple swap UI will do this automatically so less technical users can click a button and be done.
