Beware the primordial sludge.
Twirling tightly in terrific arcs

Nascent paste aches and forms about the lakes.

The thousandth cry in the creaking sky

Falls on befuddled fear worn ears.

Laden with the grave and graven

Souls of the bereft and fallen

A Marble Dharma spills green karma

In succinct and slimy silent lines

And writes our epitaphs in blades of grass.

This
Elon is not a genius, he was never a genius
Listening to him talk about bitcoin or get duped into believing the simulation hypothesis or the dangers of AI at the height of their fear-faddom will tell you that

If anything, he's just a upper range midwit with extreme conscientiousness
His spirit is practically just "hard work"
He's had like 8 kids, started two or three major, successful industry-businesses and most importantly did so even when all the snide smug cnbc guest speakers said he couldn't do it

I know this is just bait but does anyone actually think Elon Musk contributes any engineering expertise to any of his companies?

>> No.30175487

>>30175118
my own gut feeling remains, this landing rockets upright again is a red herring, a party trick, one which is wasting vast amounts of time and resources. NOW this approach comes form somewhere. Someone demands, rockets are going to take off and land upright again, whether practical, useful or even feasible. And I suspect, this is where Elon comes in. He says, 'my way, or no way'. And leaves actual engineers to sort out the fine detail. Musk is a literal 'ideas guy'. Which works out sometimes, but with this? idk. Problem being, when he's wrong, or the engineering just ain't advanced enough yet, the whole company is going to founder on this single issue, because he ain't going to admit he's (maybe..) wrong anytime soon.
