Now that I have your attention, I would like to interrupt this broadcast with an important public-service announcement.

I've seen a lot of FUD as of late about the possibility of a recession. While this bull-run shows no sure sign of stopping, it is becoming more more apparent that things are becoming more unstable as the bull runs on.

In Crypto and the Stock Market.

>so will the market crash??

More likely than not, but still unlikely. Until people get a wake-up call on how overvalued everything is will we know for sure. Then we can talk about collapse.

You saw what happened to the markets with COVID, and that was just a harmless bump in the night; it was controllable. The real thing will come one day, and when it does, no one will suspect a thing.

It will come from a source no-one suspected, and at a time no-one thought possible.

Thus is the nature of a Black Swan.

All you can do is PREPARE for when it, inevitably, arrives.

If you have extra cash lying around, consider putting some of it into non-depreciating assets. These are things such as historically valuable objects or every-use commodities.

At worst you miss out on some gains but stave off inflation.

At best you increase your odds of surviving this. Once the swan passes over, and you come out alive, you will soon after come out on top. But in order for that to happen, you need to survive it.

Now back to (you)r regularly scheduled programming.

inb4 number only go up!

Understand that people with that mindset are the ones hurt the most by market recessions. Sure, they make their money in the bull run. As they ride this bull, they will laugh at any bear beside them, and rightfully so.

BUT TAKE HEED.

If the man atop the bull is incapable of getting off of it once it runs out of energy, he will regret it. For a bear only exists because there are bulls, and vise-versa.

The bear's role in the economy is to EAT THE BULL. If you become part of bull, you will be eaten.

When that happens, which it will, don't say the bear-riders didn't warn you. You had all the time in the world to prepare, and you did not listen.

But like those before you, you think this:
>it's too big to fail

It always is. But the golden-bull goes by another name: the everything bubble. Because when that bull stops charging and the bubble pops, EVERYTHING GOES WITH IT.

It may be 5 years until what you have just read becomes relevant. It might be 50. It might be 5 minutes.

None of us truly know for certain, save for the ones who would rather die than let that information slip.

But when that time comes, remember this post. Remember that I warned you.

If shit gets overvalued, then a correction will happen. I love doomposting too and I got UVXY shares as a hedge but it’ll probably be a small bubble pop. It’ll probably be triggered by the stimulus not passing or something. I would love for a market crash to happen to get in cheapies but I don’t see it happening unless we keep growing 2% every day non stop

Imagine writing all this and at the same writing absolutely nothing. The terrible prose is the literal definition of emptiness. I'll let it pass this once because obviously you are underage. Anyway, kids should be out playing with their friends not failing to sounds smart on the 4channels.

And before I log-off for the night, one more point about Black Swans:

A Black Swan is not some natural disaster or a meteor. It's just a wake-up call that the market is failing. At the end of the day, markets merely respond to stimuli from higher forces.

Markets run off of history.

History runs off of psychology.

Psychology runs off of nature.

Nature runs off of change.

That's all a Black Swan is: a change. It could be a massive correction, or it could be some number-crunching issue we didn't see coming. The lense of historical-hindsight tends to be biased unfairly against the victims of Black Swans, as the warning signs are always obvious therein. The trouble is that without the historical-hindsight, there is not much that connects those signs together.

You really will never know when it will happen, and you probably won't know that it has happened until it is too late. Crashes don't happen in a single day. They take time.

Thus, the only thing you can do that will actually save you is to prepare yourself just in-case.

Sincerely,
Anon.
