you might enjoy From the New World. It is the best representation of what psychic powers would do to normal people since Akira. Its mainly kino, but there are some elements of childhood sexuality that disturbed me. If you can skip through that shit its a very interesting show with some crazy redpills. The mole people are basically the mongrel hybrid race of the future that the elites want to create because if you're not human they can deny you human rights.

Sounds pretty cool except for the pedo stuff. My preference is heady sci-fi/fantasy or anything philosophical. Seems to me that anime is at it's best there due to the format and the Japanese mindset. Akira was good.

I'm halfway through the 1st episode, so far it's interesting, the kid wants to get rich asap but given he lacks life experience some situations and concepts end up depicting he's a complete asswad. However, two girls (not an harem game I think), either through a lot of kindness or indifference make him mature little by little.
The setting is what I'd consider Singapur to be, pretty much everything is owned by the state or megacorps, little upward mobility, and your only chance to make it is with them stocks. I'd say HK also applies to this but now they belong completely to the chinks
You dont have to do anything but read so you can take your time.
