Tell me honestly, would you ever consider buying seiko? My wife would kill me if I spent 10k on Rolex, and her boyfriend suggested me buying Seiko diver. They are not cheap, but still 10x cheaper to Rolex. Also, it’s probably one of the most popular watch brands.

buy a seiko MM300. its a cult classic for a reason. big ass sculpted case that makes a sub look like a childs toy. only cost a few gs. easy. wear mine on rubber strap most of the time but looks good on braclet too

Understandable. I’m totally in loved with Rolex submariner design, but I don’t see me actually buying it. Like, if you don’t have at least 300k net worth, it should even be considered buying. If you have more then that, then you probably good at finance management and realize buying and wearing 10k watch has no point. Besides, at that point of life, you have no more people to impress. Like, you proved yourself to the world. Expensive watches doesn’t excite you anymore.

Kek. I've owned two Rolex watches, a ceramic sub and a batman. Also owned a seiko SLA017, mm300, and a darth tuna.

All sold now to fund other things. Seiko is my favorite watch brand, i just wish they would stop pumping out so many limited editions, it's bad for brand value. Currently wear a casio gw5000

Seiko makes a great watch. I like watches just because I have always worn one since childhood and into the military. I have an old tuna can that is still fun to wear and works great. Another cool company that nobody has and is built like a tank is Raketa out of Russia. Rolex makes some affordable models too. If you want, you can check into a Tudor for more bang for the buck. Get your wife something nice and treat yourself. Sitting on a shit ton of crypto gets lame after a while. Enjoy life.

Hated this watch at first but as my love for watches grow, so does this .
The rolex Milgauss blue dial.
Some hate it, Some love it. No inbetween.

I currently own an omega aqua terra and desu thats prob the best watch at a semi affordable price point. The Rolex Milgauss would be my second buy after the bullrun

I wear a seiko with a nylon band for now. I like it but it's a little fast so it's irritating even though I still find it impressive that all those gears keep pretty close to telling me the time in such a small package.
Anyone wear replicas here? I'm not too finicky over it passing scrutiny of a watch fag. Just that nothing is obviously misaligned and it keeps better time than my seiko.
I like the panerai fakes and they're under $500.
