Pondering forward on this hypothetical, lets say something copyrighted sold, for "whocares" 10k USD(examples sake). One week passes and the actual artist learns of it and gets social trend or some of their followers mass spam the gallery. Would the public perception of the art then deem that 10k selling to like 0 fucking USD to the sucker who bought it? The artist might get to like "legit new auction" his actual copyrighted claim and maybe it bids the price higher. Artist gets paid, Original seller is in hot water but gets paid, but the guy who bought the original fake is fucked. This all seems kinda fucked from a buying point of view unless you can completely confirm the artist is shilling his own brand exclusively on "x" website URL posted from his social media or something.
