Trump has the ability to sell an image. Whether that image actually succeeds is up for debate. But he diversifies, which is why he's been so successful over the years. There's always something else cooking away on the backburner just in case the main dish catches fire. He's already made his millions, so if something he made burns to the ground, he just pays the fines and moves onto bigger and better things.

My one concern for the Presidency is that he hasn't shown all of his cards yet, so there's a chance that if he meets enough resistance (from both sides of the aisle) he'll just fuck off to something more lucrative. But the progressives are so focused on the shiny red cape he's waving that they're completely forgetting the anvil behind it.

If you're looking for world class CEOs look at someone like Carlos Ghosn, who we know isn't a fluke because he has had repeat successes on two different continents!

You're best off comparing Trump to 'dealmakers' like Bernie Ecclestone and Carl Ichan - both are guys who while not as good at publicity as Turmp (but both very good at it) are probably far better negotiators and far better investors than Trump.
