THERE IS NO FUCKING WAY SILVER SPOT PRICE REFLECTS REALITY

In the free market, Supply and Demand determine price. If supply increases but demand stays the same or decreases, than price decreases to meet to added supply. If supply decreases but demand stays the same, than price rises to keep up with decreased supply.

It also works the other way; if demand decreases but supply stays the same or increases, than price decreases to meet the lower demand. If demand increases but supply stays the same or decreases, than price increases too meet the higher demand.

SILVER DEMAND HAS SURGED AND SUPPLY HAS EVAPORATED.

we can only conclude that there is no free market for silver, and the mechanisms for price discovery are either broken, or artificial. The perth mint, responsible for 10-20% of the worlds mint supply, is practically drained from silver. the past few days there has been no silver available, and only now you can purchase 25oz 1oz tubes, and there is a grand total of only 11 1000 oz bars available for purchase in their allocated vaults. many similar reports from all over the world. the only bullion store near me is selling its cheapest 1oz silver product at the equivalent of $36 USD. I cant find any silver cheaper than $50aud/oz on second hand market places.

How the fuck can one of the worlds largest bullion and mint produces be almost depleted of stock, yet the price stays flat and goes down?

Bitcoin is digital money that the free market has chosen as a inflation hedge/ store of value.

Bitcoin has utility as it allows me to send/ take with me any money of money anywhere in the world without having to worry about it being confiscated by customs. It is borderless money for libertarians.
Say my country bans gold and silver and I want to leave. How the hell am I going to smuggle hundreds of kilos of silver out of the country? At least with gold maybe I can smuggle a couple kilos out in a briefcase without being caught but with silver it is impossible, I need a yacht of something lol.

With bitcoin I can access a billion dollars of bitcoin just by remembering a 24 letter phrase.

Of course it has it's own problems, that is why you diversify across multiple asset classes so your financial position is more stable. contrast this with say, gold and silver, or really any commodity from copper to wheat: these TANGIBLE RESOURCES have utility, function, and are able to be utilised by man for consumption and production. because of this, there is always demand for them in some capacity(some moreso than others), and this demand means you can reasonable expect the same quantity of x to purchase the same quantity of y in the future - the commodity can act as a STORE OF VALUE

commodities with more utility are more MARKETABLE. the more marketable a good is, the higher its demand will be, because people can then also use the good as a MEDIUM OF EXCHANGE. The powers of the free market will eventually determine which commodity acts as the best medium of exchange AND retains its purchasing power over time (store of value)

Bitcoin is not now, nor will it ever be, a store of value. It has no utility and is a purely digital speculative bubble.
