These are counterparty assets (XCP) so they reside on top of the Bitcoin blockchain. They don’t rely on shitty ethereum protocols, and they are as secure as Bitcoin themselves.

While scammers were selling you guys dumb crumbs, real actual value was being encoded into the most ancient and secure blockchain in the world.
