Thoughts on platinum? Industrially important metal like silver, but more scarce than gold. There's fud against because of EVs but it's also important in electrolytic hydrogen generation.

bought silver at 27.6~ last week for 32.50 an oz
now everyone in pmg is calling for a dip. Did i seriously buy the fucking top?? im 1000% okay with holding but i wish i would've been able to get more silver for the money because i put just about all i could afford in for the time being.

In may of last year the FED changed the way they reported the m1 supply by including money in savings and money markets into their function. I simply removed the giant spike that happened due to the inclusion of that function in May. The graph looks squished because it's only 2019-2020, minus May which had the giant spike for the reason I just said.
The fed should have adjusted the graph so that it didn't have such a huge spike in the first place. It's rather dishonest that they didn't.

The IRS is pretty lax about reporting metals purchases because reporting those helps YOU, not them. But as soon as you sell they'll have your ID and you'll be 1099'd and owe taxes on the full sale value.

if you had reported the purchase price you could subtract that from the profits from the sale, but everyone is so afeared of IRS spying they won't report the purchase. Have fun paying taxes on $75k in income and not being able to deduct the $65k you spent. /pmg/ is even worse at business than cryptokiddies are.

Well, my biggest issue with atheism is that it removes that sense of peace people have knowing that God is judging them, as counterintuitive as it sounds. Whereas if people don't feel like they are being judged for their actions and that they should abide by a universal code of morality, they are then able to do as they please without worrying about consequences.
But I know not all atheists and nihilists are like this. I'm sure there's many that are upstanding people in the eyes of God, even if they don't believe in Him. All I'm saying is without a universal morality code, we are at bigger danger of falling into moral relativism. Which isn't a problem in and of itself, but when you have so many morality systems clashing with each other there is bound to be trouble
