Is AMC still primed to blow or did the meme stock bubble burst?

>> No.30018124

AMC was never pumped to unsustainable levels. If you look at its overall price history its past overdue for a major rally. The price action on it right now is is organic, and likely is even being suppressed by the people who had been bagholding looking to mitigate losses.

>> No.30018276

No, it is mostly owned by China, too many institutional investors willing to dump their shares, and they will issue more shares to take advantage of the retail demand.

>> No.30018321

It's hitting pre-covid prices now so realistically it's probably not going much higher unless people start going out to movies en masse again. Hoping for a quick pump from the reddit retards though to make a few bucks.

AMC has always been a Chinese communist cyop to distract from GME. AMC has no chance. People still buy games but no one goes to movies. Biggest evidences is all AMC CEOs and insiders unloaded their bags during the pump, at least Cohen didn't sell a single share of GME.

AMC will be the next one to pump.

No matter how you look at it, it'll be the next one.

When? Is the key question.

If you faggots havent understood yet, its all a meme. You have now been roped into the stockmarket euphoria. It happens every so often with big hypes. But think about it, AMC has huge ammounts of debt and even when they reopen. Who the fuck still goes to the theather..? It was all a meme and the meme is over. This made me realize that movie theatres can only survive if they ditch the retarded seating arrangements they have and opt for smaller, more high class arrangements. Nobody wants to go to a theater and sit in the front row at the very edge and get a migraine for 2 hours when I can just watch at home, but fresh popcorn, drinks, snacks and comfy reclining seats for a big premiere might still pull me in

>all these losers claiming nobody goes to the movies anymore

The movies are one of the few entertainment options that pretty much everybody can afford, they aren't going away any time soon. For many, sports events tickets, vacations, theme parks, cruises, etc are too costly to purchase more than seldomly. You can still take your family to the movies for $12 per adult and $10 per child plus more for some snacks.

Beyond that, you have to spend quite a bit on a home theater to get an experience that is even close to the quality of a proper movie theater.

This stupid trend of claiming movies are going away is just an example of smoothbrain dipshits saying stuff that sounds good in their pea brains, but isn't actually true

You're wrong. Theaters will be around for a long, long time.

In 2018, ticket sales were 10 percent lower than their 40 year high set in 2002. There has been a modest, gradual decline over the past 2 decades, but nowhere near the level that warrants the kind of soi faggot doom and gloom "theaters are dead" posting that you see midwits throw around.

Sure in the coming decades there may be a small reduction in theaters on the order of another 10% or even 20%, but that means there will still be over a billion tickets sold per year. You're flat out wrong faggot.

>> No.30026776

>>30026399
I'm not. You're delusional. The only thing that will be around for a long, long time will be the abandoned buildings that used to be theaters because no one will buy the real estate.

I don't think it needs Marvel, that's just what sells right now. If the fi;m industry would actually take more risks and release more original stories we might enter a renaissance of cinema.

Because this was just a manufactured exaggerated shock event to push through acceptance of some attitudes and policies that the control matrix needed to advance their goals for the next couple decades. It's like 9/11.

Things are never going to be totally the same, but there will be some return to "normal". The system is worth more alive than dead, they don't want to totally destroy it, they want ironclad control over it.

The spergs should give AMC a try! They've done more than most to be sensitive to their special screening needs.

I'm gonna give an accurate answer. Nobody knows what the fuck is going on. Long term it has better fundamentals than GME so if Movie Theatres do well again, AMC is not a bad hold.

But regarding the short squeeze, volume and price action. Some fight is going between big players. And the almost carbon copy charts to GME shows it's part of the same play. Considering the pump for AMC is not as dramatic gives some room to speculate higher. However I'd still season expectations with a dash of realism.
