what just happened? hit 50k resistance and bounce off of it by a few pips. that is no indication of a bearish or bullish trend. breakout traders would wait for confirmation by awaiting price to re-test that same price point. if it bounces off again one can expect a downtrend, at least in the short term. if a convincing green candle forms through the resistance, a breakout trader will open a long position.
you would not be a good breakout trader since you seem to make decisions on a trend based off a single test of resistance. that's very weak info and you would be ill advised to sell, or indeed buy, at this level for the moment.
