The price went down days in advance by 75ct total, at a valuation of $3.75. That's 20%. The unlock will get priced in again a few days in advance, with a shock on the day of the unlock followed by recovery.

There are more than 840 validators, which have at least two thousand AVAX running the node. You don't have proof that people timed the staking for the unlock because AVAX holders stake at long term, most of them at least at 6 months. There will be a dip on the unlock, yes, but it won't be THAT big, plus it is only a part of the locked tokens that will be released. It will take a HUGE amount of time in order to unlock all the tokens. This is bullish.
