no dex yet. you can get AGI on binance if that's what you're interested in. Binance trades in the ETH-version of AGI though. You'd need to send those to an Ethereum wallet on the ETH network and do the swap there when it is set-up by the SingularityNet team. as to other tokens, no idea. Dexes will be here when Goguen smart contracts are live in Q2.

>> No.29998061

I thought this update was meant to introduce smart contacts, guess not.
So, do I hold to my ADA until a dex is released, whenever Goguen is reached?

native tokens this update. because tokens are native on Cardano they do not require smart contracts to exist nor to be traded. ETH is different, and tokens require smart contract functionality, which is also why moving tokens around on the ETH network costs more than moving ETH around. yet another advantage of Cardano - tokens are native and treated the same as ADA.

it's not the final vision. these are iterative updates. that said, the entire 2017 bullrun on ETH was fueled by ICOs. LINK was just a token with no functionality. Projects can launch with tokens and raise funds per the ICO model, existing tokens can migrate, but the real excitement comes with Goguen smart contracts, agreed.

Cardano underwent a hardfork-recombinator event and we are now in the Multi asset era. At this moment you can create tokens on the Cardano mainnet, run an ICO, whatever you want to do with tokens that does not require smart contract functionality from Goguen. for that it'll be in Q2. Tokens that you have will appear in your Daedalus wallet - you shouldn't have any right now unless someone does some airdrops.

Pledge - how much the pool operator put into the pool... think of that as skin in the game. Pool size is the # of ADA staked with the pool, you want to be under the threshold of 62-ish million. At that threshold the rewards undergo diminishing returns. Basically find a pool with under 60 million staked with a good ROI and online % time and you're good to go.

THERE ARE NFT for ADA right now??
Please send a link, doc, or anything. I have a project completely ready, but I just need to launch some NFTs on ADA.

Goguen is a codename for the part of the project that brings smart contracts and token functionality for Cardano. AGI is an Artificial Intelligence services platform called SingularityNet (token = AGI) that is essentially moving from Ethereum to Cardano although people will be able to keep their AGI tokens on the Ethereum network if they wish to do so, however most/all development efforts for SingularityNet are going to be focused on Cardano going forward in the future.

Yes, NFTs are to be live with the Mary hard fork recombinator event which just occured. I don't know about the documentation anon - found this just now.
https://forum.cardano.org/t/creating-native-tokens/50950
yes NFTs are supposed to be live as of now.

>> No.30004890

none, just the same as doing so on the Ethereum network. squatting isn't a thing and the token is only as valuable as you can make it through your efforts.

Daedalus is what I prefer. It's a very easy to use and slick full-node wallet (meaning that it is trustless in that it verifies everything and you have no trusted outside party).
Daedalus is only available as a desktop application. there is a scammer putting up a fake daedalus on the GooglePlay store - avoid that.

link to the IOHK webpage referencing daedalus so you know it's the legit one:
that page links to the wallet below:

You need a purpose.

Coins and token are created to work for certain ideas.

May it be a way of finding validity of a product (a new way of authentication).

So if you invent a coin that works in a technology that you scan a qr code and you get this fingerprint worth let say 1ada coin you deliver this product to murica and scan the code you get this fingerprint to know you have real product.

This is just something i came up with broken english and 5 sec of thinking.

Why cardano is better than others? It looks safe so far and it fixes the issues other coins have.
