So let me get this straight the current line of logic is that Chainlink is a real project being shilled by WEF and Citigroup, but you can make more money by buying food token scams and vaporware ETH killers because it is all normies know how to buy.
Am I getting this right?
Offchain Labs development velocity is absolutely insane right now btw.

Yes anon that is basically it, Chainlink is amazing but you can make more money on scams.
That and the node incentive tokens.

Ever heard of pumpamentals kid? Cute picture of a dog in Elon Musk twitter was enough to Doge to flip Chainlink in the ranks, even if Bill Gates would be tweeting about Chainlink no one would even give a shit, it would just be cringeworthy and have same kind of reaction like Gates pro-vaccination tweets and other stuff like that

Link has no pumpamentals, and it is all about pampamenthals in crypto. Back in 2017-2018 a single picture of an Apple sticker on a skateboard was enough to cause OmiseGO go crazy. That was a project with solid pumpamentals, I miss those times. I still chase the pampamenthal, fuck Chainlink.

but is Chainlink a better long term hold? Even at this price?

Remember all OMG needed to do to pump was post a picture of a skateboard with an apple logo on it and it went to 20 dollars.
But I bet if Link partnered with Apple and Apple officially states that they are using Chainlink tech, Link would drop another 10%.

Is this the first time you're seeing a disconnect between where hype is and where it would be if people did due diligence? Everything in crypto is just a soap opera that we're allowed to place bets on. The audience rarely gets to change where it is or where it's going and right now, LINK is not going to be allowed out of its cage.

In normal asset markets this means there is either a rigged market or large players know there is a black swan imminent (permit denials, etc). In LINK's case it's probably just greedy Chinamen fucking around.

I too hope they finish before launching it.

>>29985411
Yes. As much as it makes us die a thousand deaths, this is the case.

Offchain Labs probably fear Optimism, so they're gearing up heavily

The average and above average crypto investor doesn't understand chainlink because it requires extensive work (without having the luxury of spoonfeeding LINK threads from '17-'19) to realize how deep the rabbit hole actually goes. Most probably wouldn't even be able to make it through the whitepaper. Hype attracts weak hands which in turn result in risk for the holder. I don't care. I've been comfy ever since I read Sergey's end of the year medium post from 2017.
Fuck scam- or hypecoins. The future is blue. The future is LINK. Godspeed, anon. We're all going to make it.
