LINK appreciates in value and I can refinance. I'll lower the risk ratio/health factor with the LINK compounding outside of what is collateral too. Then use the fiat I need to buy other appreciating assets that produce cash flow. Saylor talks about this somewhat we had an excellent thread on the topic maybe 2-3 weeks ago about never selling. This is what wealthy people do just borrow against prime assets. Its done mostly in the real estate sector currently but CEOs do it against their stock too.

I would use Celsius as of right now since they do direct to USD loans so I can avoid taxes. On there you can only take 25% of the collateral for a loan. I would probably a 10 to 1 ratio to feel safe but the strategy needs put options to work well. Check the archives use "never sell your assets" I think was the title of the thread. Yep. But people keep looking only at the LINK/USD charts. You NEED to simultaneously look at the BTC/USD, LINK/BTC and LINK/USD charts to get a full understanding of the extent of the manipulation. It's manipulated on both pairs in different ways - five hours ago the LINK/BTC pair started doing well and then dumped hardcore just as BTC was pumping, which is the start of the sub-$27 price suppression you're seeing now. They dump it the moment it's doing well near key levels on both pairs in different circumstances.

https://www.standardbank.com/sbg/standard-bank-group/whats-happening/newsroom/standard-bank-group-establishes-africas-first-hedera-network-node

Standard Bank Group establishes Africa’s first Hedera network node to enable much-needed digitisation of cross-border trade processes

Johannesburg, South Africa and Dallas, TX – 24 February 2021 – Standard Bank Group, the largest African bank by assets, has partnered with Hedera Hashgraph, an enterprise-grade distributed public ledger, and joined the Hedera Governing Council. Standard Bank will establish the continent’s first Hedera network node, which is set to solve some of the sore points that have historically beset the development of cross-border trade.

Lengthy settlement periods, information asymmetry between multiple parties involved in a transaction, which ends up creating delays in receiving approval from intermediaries, are some of the challenges that create bottlenecks in cross-border trade. Further, there is little to no visibility or transparency for all parties involved.

Hedera’s distributed ledger technology (DLT) effectively allows for the sharing of information between two parties involved in a transaction and ensures that that information or data is in fact credible and authentic – without the need for a trusted intermediary. Transactions conducted via the DLT platform are not confirmed until all data fields and conditions are met. This creates a transparent environment and allows for trades to be settled faster and more efficiently.

Standard Bank Group has been a pioneer in leveraging blockchain and distributed ledger technologies to bring speed and transparency to its large and growing customer base across Africa. It has leveraged this technology for several use cases, including foreign exchange (FX) payments and settlement across partner banks, clients, and counterparties involved in trades.

False. There is a massive thread detailing all of this that I and another anon covered in detail a few weeks ago. This is how the wealthy operate. This was covered a little in this thread as well. You are buying cash flow producing assets with your loans or refinancing as collateral appreciates in value there is more to it than that but thats it simplified.

The benefit is you don't have to sell at a time when you don't want to if you need to get the cash. We all know LINK is going higher than $27 so why sell now if you could just borrow against it for short term fiat needs. You can sell a small portion of your stack to pay it back when LINK is $1000

You don't understand the scripture and how God anointed David. Luke 22:36-37 was to fulfill prophecy

>Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end

Why are you telling me it’s false?

It’s a fact that you have to pay the loan back and at that point you’re either paying back in fiat or selling crypto to pay it back, which is a taxable event.

I guess you could keep extending the loans and hope to get a reverse margin call in the future. But there’s no way around the need to cash out crypto.

If you have a good explanation of this please let me know, I’ve been looking into this and doing for for over a year now. It’s great for additional leverage but that’s the only use right now as far as I’m concerned.

>Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:3

>He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God
John 3:18

And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

I literally just told you. You are buying cash flow producing assets with the loan IE real estate/apartments or you simply refinance the loan as the collateral appreciates. Michael Saylor discusses this in a podcast I saw a month ago where wealthy elites in NY have been doing this for 100 years as their family continuously inherits them over time. You buy assets that are so valuable you never want to sell them and just take loans against it forever while the asset compounds its value. Its even more lucrative with crypto on the compounding front but you have to deal with volatility so you need puts as a hedge. Real estate is slow and doesn't dump especially if its prime location. Check the archives for the thread its something like "never sell your assets or crypto"

This whole thing is predicated on the idea that crypto doesn’t have cycles and only goes up. Go ahead and take out a loan, but when repayment comes and the market is not in a place to refinance you’ll be fucked and be forced to sell crypto and pay the taxes anyways.

Developers that utilize the Chainlink network pay with the protocol’s native token,
LINK. Thus, a token that helps to facilitate the growth of the on-chain ecosystem
may also gain prominence over Bitcoin in time as it becomes increasingly critical to
the operation of the blockchain infrastructure.
It is thus already possible to envision a commerce-linked or infrastructure-linked
coin that may eventually eclipse Bitcoin. More such possibilities may emerge.
Innovation in the chain-based ecosystem is continuing apace and today’s offerings
may yet give way to a new invention that garners more attention and assets than
Bitcoin.
